Defispot Ledger support through XDEFI
Defispot announced Ledger hardware wallet compatibility through XDEFI Wallet for its decentralized exchange interface. XDEFI later became Ctrl Wallet, which permanently shut down on August 19, 2026. The former connection is historical and cannot be treated as a current setup path through Ctrl.

What the compatibility update covered
- Ledger option
- Defispot's Ledger compatibility update instructed users to select the Ledger option when using the device through XDEFI Wallet.
- Other wallet connections
- The same announcement said Ledger compatibility through other wallets was already available at that time. It did not name those alternatives.
- Models and networks
- The announcement did not specify the Ledger models or blockchain networks that the XDEFI update covered. Its compatibility claim does not establish support for every device and network combination.
The later Ctrl Wallet shutdown
Ctrl Wallet was the later name of XDEFI Wallet. Its rebranding instructions described an automatic update of existing XDEFI browser extensions to Ctrl.
Ctrl's permanent shutdown notice states that the wallet closed on August 19, 2026. The closure affects the wallet application that provided the historical Ledger connection. It does not establish the status of other Defispot wallet connections.
Reusing a saved XDEFI setup
In this hypothetical example, a Ledger owner tries to reuse the XDEFI connection described in an old Defispot setup note after August 19, 2026. The closed wallet can no longer provide that connection. Selecting Ledger was the documented step for connecting through XDEFI Wallet. Because XDEFI became Ctrl, the closed application is the software component that this setup depends on. The result is specific to the former XDEFI/Ctrl connection and does not establish whether another wallet can connect the device.
